About your child
Our qualified and experienced staffs engage with and observe your child in order to report on their development, interests and challenges. This is used to develop an individualised program for your child to build on your child’s funds of knowledge.
Areas important to childhood development are;
- The child’s sense of self
- The communicating child
- The thinking child
- The healthy, physically active child
- The social child
- The feeling child
- The creative child
- The spiritual and moral child
The above areas are only a guide with many areas of development being present in children. The staff will each have a set of observation children who they will observe throughout the year. Please see our educators with any concerns or questions you may have regarding your child or just to have a chat about their day.
